ORIGINAL MEDICARE has two parts...
PART A
If you have paid into Medicare through payroll taxes for ten years, then you are entitled to Medicare Part A at no cost.
PART B
You have seven months to apply for Medicare. You can apply for Part B Medicare three months before and three months after your birth month.
